Sun sets over Europe

Addio Italia.
When the time came to say farewell to Italy I was grasping it with my eyes through the plain window and I saw the most awesome thing: lake Garda. There it was, like the contours on the map, the peninsula of Sirmione, the place where I bathed just that morning, the bay of Salo... at that moment I was too glued to the window but that inspired me to take my camera out of the luggage compartment.

Don't you just love the clouds as seen from above. They look so soft and fluffy but firm I just want to jump in them.

Even the sunset looks different from above.

The evening is an awesome time to fly as the colors and light change while you cross over land.

Soon the colors transformed into light shades of purple.

And every now and then I caught a glimps of lightning stricking in the clouds. A magical, bit of scary but spectaculary beautiful sight!
